On Ash Wednesday, Mass will be celebrated at either 7.30 a.m.  or 5:30 p.m. (both Masses with distribution of ashes) Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and is a day of prayer and abstinence for Catholics. We abstain from eating meat and fast, which for us means having one normal meal and two smaller meals that combined are not bigger than the main meal. The Archdiocesan Lenten regulations are posted on the noticeboard.

Liturgy of the Word will take place with our school children in attendance (with distribution of ashes). This year, St. Roch's Parish will be hosting the Ecumenicial Service which starts at 10 a.m. and includes many of the other faith communities in our area.  After the Service there will be refreshments offered in the Hall. All welcome!

Easter Vigil Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 16 April 2021 at  7:30 p.m. Please note - We will begin by gathering outside in the carpark for the blessing of Easter fire.  We will then make our Procession of Light along Glenvale Road and in the main doors of the church. All welcome!
