Baptism

Parents seeking Baptism at St. Roch’s of their infants or young child are asked to contact the Parish Office on 9885 6611 or via gleniris@cam.org.au to find out which Sunday dates are available.  As part of the baptism process, parents and Godparents will be asked to attend a Baptism Preparation Meeting, with Jessica Mount, our Sacramental Coordinator.

Baptisms are not conducted during a Mass or during the month of January.

For Baptisms of adults, or children 7 years or older, a period of catechesis is required. That is, studying the Catholic faith. For such situations, please contact the Parish office on 9885 6611 or via gleniris@cam.org.au.

Reconciliation

Confessions are heard in St. Roch’s Church prior to each of the weekend Masses and during Adoration, or by appointment with the Parish Priest. Please call the Parish office to arrange the appointment on 9885 6611 or via gleniris@cam.org.au.

Children are prepared in St.Roch’s School for their First Reconciliation.  The sacrament of First Reconciliation is completed during Lent each year.

Children who are St. Roch’s parishioners and who attend other schools may receive their First Reconciliation in St. Roch’s Church, provided they have participated in the complete program of preparation conducted by St. Roch’s. Eucharist

The times of the celebration of the Eucharist (Mass) are noted under Mass times.

St. Roch’s Parish School prepares children for their first reception of Holy Communion.

Children who are St. Roch’s parishioners and who attend other schools may receive their First Holy Communion in St. Roch’s Church, provided they have participated in the complete program of preparation conducted by St. Roch’s Parish. Confirmation

Confirmation is administered in St. Roch’s Church to children in Year 6. The children are prepared in St. Roch’s Parish School.

Children who are St. Roch’s parishioners and who attend other schools may be Confirmed in St. Roch’s Church, provided they have participated in the complete program of preparation conducted by St. Roch’s Parish on 9885 6611 or via gleniris@cam.org.au.

Anointing of the Sick

Parishioners of St. Roch’s Parish who are seriously ill should contact the Parish office to arrange for the celebration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, on 9885 6611 or via gleniris@cam.org.au.

Marriage

Parishioners wishing to marry in St. Roch’s Church should contact the Parish office. At present, marriages in St. Roch’s Church are limited to St. Roch’s Parishioners.

Exposition and Benediction

This devotion occurs on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m.– 7:00 p.m. straight after the 5:30 p.m. Mass.   All welcome.
